HEATHER DELANEY, MD, CHSE, FAAP
Dr. Heather Delaney is a double Board-Certified Pediatrician and Neonatologist with over 20 years of broad experiences in the medical field. She is a 17-year Veteran of the US Air Force and Army. Her areas of expertise include healthcare education and quality, infectious disease prevention and healthcare leadership. She is married to an Active Duty service member of the US Army and has two girls both of whom were born in Hawaii.Â
ALLYSON WARD, MSN, APN, NNP-BC
Ally is a neonatal nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience caring for infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Ally is also the mother of fraternal twin boys, who were born 10 weeks premature. Her experience as a nurse practitioner and a parent has given her a unique perspective on the intersection of healthcare and parenting.
SARAH M. REYES, PH.D.
Dr. Sarah Reyes is an expert in human milk and clinical research. She holds a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University, backed by a master’s degree in animal science and a bachelor’s degree in human milk and international studies from the University of Idaho. With over a decade of dedicated research experience, Sarah has published research on topics ranging from pumping practices and the human milk microbiome, human milk composition and infant growth, and human milk fortification practices and preterm infant health. Beyond her professional pursuits, Sarah is married and a loving parent to three children.

Zachary Cartwright is a lead food scientist and isotherm application specialist with AQUALAB. He helps partners in the food and pharma industries to better understand the water in their products so they can speed up R&D processes, verify quality and safety, and hit specs during production. Zachary received his PhD in food science from Washington State University and has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from New Mexico State University. A note from the founder of Milkify
I started Milkify with the goal of finding a better way to preserve the nutritional qualities of breast milk long-term. I was particularly interested in saving the beneficial bacteria present in breast milk, which are vital to a healthy baby gut. My background is in gut microbiome research, and I know how important breast milk is to healthy infant development. However, at the time Milkify was founded, I did not yet have a child… After having my first baby, our beautiful girl Arielle, I now appreciate the desire to save every last drop of that hard-earned liquid gold. I struggled through the first year of breastfeeding and pumping, and am grateful to have been able to save my stash in freeze-dried form. I designed our service to be as easy as possible for you to do the same!
